Myself and my family booked game drive with Gorilla Expeditions. The Safari exceeded our expectations. Our tour was very well organized and stay at Akagera Game Lodge was very nice. Moses our driver was an outstanding guide. He was very knowledgeable and informed us about the wildlife located in the park. Our first day was spent touring the southern part of the park where we saw elephants, zebras, hippos, variety of birds, and even a crocodile. Gorilla Expeditions also organized a boat ride on Lake Ihema which was one of the highlights of the day. Our second day was spent touring additional areas of the southern part of the part. Due to time constraints on our side we were not able to see the North part of the park where much of the wildlife tends to be located, especially during the rainy season. Nonetheless, our Safari was incredible and we highly recommend Gorilla Expeditions. We look forward to coming back and will be using Gorilla Expeditions again.
We had a great trip. We spent 20 days in Rwanda with Gorilla Expedition Safari. The organisation was very flexible, they arranged a tailor made trip for us, adapting it to all our wishes. The accommodation they organised for us was always very nice, with good food as well. Any (of the few) issues we had were solved very professionally and alternate solutions were found very quickly. Moses (our driver) thrived to be as professional and helpful as possible.
Moses is a great guide and was extremely responsive, put the entire trip together for us and because of that, we had zero stress! He took care of everything, down to permits to see the gorillas to packing water for us on the hike. He even would stop at locations for us to take photos. I would recommend Moses and take another trip with him. He was great!
Moses was a fantastic guide who looked after us very well, right from getting us tested for covid, the bookings needed there through to picking us up in their very nicely done up landrover, dinners, food stops, great coffee at a really sweet spot along the way and most of all, getting us to a really amazing trek with the Gorillas.
